Dr Naveena Jain is a developmental and general paediatrician who is passionate about supporting children to achieve their best potential. Dr Jain has special interests in developmental delay, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, learning difficulties and general paediatric issues.

Dr Jain graduated and completed a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in paediatrics, a postgraduate program from India. She later worked in the National Health Service (NHS) in the United Kingdom and completed the Member of Royal College of Physicians of Child Health examinations.

Dr Jain has over 16 years of paediatric experience working in India, the United Kingdom, and Australia. She has worked at the Queensland Children’s Hospital, Westmead Children’s Hospital, and the Sydney Children’s Hospital. She is trained in using assessment tools such as the Autism Diagnostic Observations Schedule (ADOS), ADI-R Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised and Griffiths Scales of Child Development. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and a member of the Australian Society of Developmental Paediatrics. She is an experienced medical educator and holds a Conjoint Associate Lecturer position at the University of New South Wales – Discipline of Paediatrics & Child Health.
